I am a bilingual bi-cultural California state Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience. My current focus is working with 18-40 year old female-identified Latinx individuals. I am trained/certified in many evidenced-based westernized treatment models, but I believe there are many forms of healing, including being heard by someone that understands the nuances of the Latinx experience and culture. I have been strategically focusing on unlearning and decolonizing my westernized education. My interest is in trauma (racial, generational, childhood, identity) and its effects on the physical body, on the brain and memory, and our emotions.
